"Gary and Elaine from Walk Interior Design have helped me during the last two and a half years create my beautiful house. I am very passionate about decor and like to think I have reasonably good taste. To begin with I was reluctant to involve anyone else but then I met Gary and Elaine! They were recommended to me by a carpet manufacturer as the distributors in this area for a specific carpet I wanted. Gary and Elaine are a unique team both having exceptionally good skills in their individual areas of the business. I have used many companies over the years who claim to be interior designers and Walk are without doubt the best. From the initial design process with Elaine through to scheduling and completion with Gary, they deliver what they say they will. Gary is extremely efficient and expects the highest standards of work and was fully involved and contactable at all stages. They are professional, well organised and a pleasure to deal with. When friends and acquaintances find out I've used interior designers their reaction is all too often "that must be expensive". I do like good quality and am prepared to pay a little more for beautiful fabrics you would not easily find on the high street. However, my experience with the project was pleasing particularly when they designed some bespoke wardrobes for my bedroom which cost considerably less than I was expecting and, at the same time, came up with a brilliant space solution. We worked together and Gary and Elaine were keen to incorporate my own ideas as well as their own. We included all the existing pieces of furniture I already had and nothing ended up being surplus or looking like it shouldn't belong. WOW - what a difference and how it needed attention! I love it and am thrilled with your ideas! Beyond my expectations!! The conservatory is absolutely wonderful and worth all the wait for the furniture - the colours that were chosen by Elaine are fabulous and the room has been 'drooled' over by so many people!! We love the furniture and it is so comfortable - even David thinks the room is superb. Thank you both so much - the TV room is also superb and a wonderful link into the conservatory.
